Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Northwich Campus, supporting within our specialist provision team. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to support a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), delivering a bespoke curriculum alongside consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-quality learning activities across 1:1, small group, and occasionally whole-class settings
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a named pupil, including supervision throughout the school day (including breaks and lunchtimes)
Support the delivery of a personalised, bespoke curriculum
Act as a Key Worker, building strong relationships with the pupil, parents, and internal stakeholders
Work closely with the LSCo, SENDCo, and specialist teachers to implement EHCP outcomes
Provide enhanced supervision for specific activities (e.g. 2:1 support for swimming or off-site activities)

Requirements:

Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience (e.g. NVQ Level 4/5)
Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, SEND frameworks, and relevant legislation
Show resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting engagement
