Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our Salisbury Campus on a full time, term time only basis. About the Role: Working under the direction of teaching staff and the SEND team, you will: Deliver high-quality learning activities across 1:1, small group, and occasionally whole-class settings; Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a named pupil, including supervision throughout the school day (including breaks and lunchtimes); Support the delivery of a personalised, bespoke curriculum; Act as a Key Worker, building strong relationships with the pupil, parents, and internal stakeholders; Work closely with the LSCo, SENDCo, and specialist teachers to implement EHCP outcomes; Provide enhanced supervision for specific activities (e.g. 2:1 support for swimming or off-site activities); Term time only. About You: To be considered for this position you must have: Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience (e.g. NVQ Level 4/5)​​​​​​; Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting; Strong knowledge of safeguarding, SEND frameworks, and relevant legislation; Show resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to supporting engagement.
