A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Muswell Hill is seeking a dedicated HLTA or Unqualified Teacher to join their supportive team from September 2026 on a 1-year fixed term contract. This varied role combines whole-class cover teaching with behaviour, pastoral, and wellbeing support across the school. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across the primary phase
Support pupils with behaviour, wellbeing, SEND, and SEMH needs
Lead targeted interventions and restorative behaviour support
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Promote a calm, consistent, and nurturing school environment
Requirements:
HLTA status or relevant classroom experience
Strong behaviour management and classroom practice
Confidence delivering lessons to whole classes
Knowledge of restorative and de-escalation approaches
