Job Description:

R.Power is a leading independent renewable energy producer in Poland and other European markets. We are looking for a High Voltage Senior Designer to join our team in Warsaw.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and coordination of high voltage systems for power installations
  • Preparation of technical specifications, project documentation, and guidelines for contractors and suppliers
  • Supervision of the implementation of high voltage installations, including participation in technical inspections and commissioning
  • Cooperation with transmission and distribution system operators regarding grid connection of installations
  • Verification of technical documentation and ensuring compliance of the works with applicable standards, legal regulations, and industry norms
  • Participation in technical analyses and risk assessment of designed solutions
  • Technical support for design, construction, and operation teams
  • Collaboration with equipment suppliers and subcontractors in selecting and implementing technical solutions
  • Monitoring of new technologies and trends in the high voltage sector and recommending their implementation in ongoing projects
  • Ensuring work safety during the design and execution of high voltage installations and compliance with HSE regulations

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in designing or implementing high voltage installations
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, technical standards, and industry regulations in the high voltage domain
  • Ability to read and prepare technical documentation
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety rules for high voltage systems
  • Good command of MS Office and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar – nice to have)
  • Teamwork skills and strong communication abilities
  • Previous experience in cooperation with grid operators and equipment suppliers is a strong asset
