Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for the detailed design High voltage Junction box, module to HVJB, signal routing and connection and high voltage current routing from modules to vehicle interface
  • Definition of position and type of connections, signal routing, internal interfaces
  • Alignment of vehicle interface position and type of electrical interfaces
  • Definition of requirements to the individual components
  • Compliance to creeping distance and clearance requirements
  • Expected outputs are 3D designs, 2D drawings for sample production, specification development, creeping distance and clearance analysis, component specification and fulfillment
  • FMEA with failure modes and assessment

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering
  • 4+ years in 3D design, primarily using CATIA v5/3Dx
  • Experience in: Automotive engineering
  • High voltage battery design
  • Creeping distance and clearance
  • EMC requirements
  • Corrosion
