Job Description:

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams in supporting high performance computing hardware operations. This is an on-site role in Aberdeen, MD requiring Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include maintaining SLA standards, solving technical issues, performing hardware diagnostics and repairs, and managing inventory.

Job Responsibility:

Report daily to and work physically at the customer site
Meet and maintain SLA (Service Level Agreement)
Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies
Own and drive service tickets, including ordering parts for repairs
Gather data, perform analysis, and escalate issues for timely resolution
Participate as part of a team and maintain customer relations
Verify and implement technical solutions to problems
Maintain on-site part inventory.

Requirements:

Secret Clearance required
Breakfix experience required
Must be flexible to support off hours as needed
Security+ Certification required
Linux+ Certification required (must obtain prior to start date, if not held)
Extensive Linux-based hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics experience
Ability to work in a multi-technology environment
Ability to communicate confidently with senior management
4+ years of professional experience with a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree)
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Nice to have:

Ability to perform hardware diagnostics and repairs
Experience with ordering parts and managing inventory
Ability to collect and determine detailed customer requirements
Occasional travel readiness.
