Job Description

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams in supporting high performance computing hardware operations. This is an on-site role in Aberdeen, MD requiring Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include maintaining SLA standards, solving technical issues, performing hardware diagnostics and repairs, and managing inventory.

Job Responsibility

  • Report daily to and work physically at the customer site
  • Meet and maintain SLA (Service Level Agreement)
  • Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies
  • Own and drive service tickets, including ordering parts for repairs
  • Gather data, perform analysis, and escalate issues for timely resolution
  • Participate as part of a team and maintain customer relations
  • Verify and implement technical solutions to problems
  • Maintain on-site part inventory.

Requirements

  • Secret Clearance required
  • Breakfix experience required
  • Must be flexible to support off hours as needed
  • Security+ Certification required
  • Linux+ Certification required (must obtain prior to start date, if not held)
  • Extensive Linux-based hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics experience
  • Ability to work in a multi-technology environment
  • Ability to communicate confidently with senior management
  • 4+ years of professional experience with a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree)
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
