High Level Teaching Assistant

• Provide high-quality support to teachers across different classes and subjects
• Lead small groups and deliver planned learning activities
• Offer targeted support to individual pupils, including those with SEND
• Assist with planning and preparation of learning materials
• Maintain positive behavior and consistent routines
• Support assessment processes and contribute to pupil progress notes
• Supervise classes during teacher absence where required
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
• Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritize pupil welfare

• Prior experience working in a school setting is essential
• HLTA status or relevant TA qualifications are beneficial
• Confident in leading groups and delivering pre-planned learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Effective behaviour management and the ability to motivate pupils
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to use initiative
• Reliable, organized, and committed to supporting pupil progress
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting well-being
