Are you a passionate and experienced SEN support professional looking to make a meaningful impact on children's lives? Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school in Liverpool (L7), working with students who have complex and additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in a rewarding environment.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check (child and adult) - must be current or willing to apply for one
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Diploma - essential
  • Experience supporting children with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Familiarity with non-verbal communication strategies and assistive technologies
  • Experience in moving and handling students with physical needs across varied settings (e.g. classroom, pool, gym, residential units)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning activities

Nice to have:

HLTA qualification or willingness to work towards it
