Job Description:

High Level Teaching Assistant – Day-to-day supply, starting as soon as possible. These flexible opportunities are ideal for High Level Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will be supporting pupils in Attleborough and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality classroom support and covering lessons on a day-to-day supply basis.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver pre-planned learning activities and cover lessons during teacher absence
  • Support pupils across a range of year groups and abilities
  • Work closely with teachers to maintain continuity of learning
  • Lead small-group interventions to support progress and engagement
  • Assist with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation when required
  • Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
  • Contribute to wider school routines and expectations during supply placements

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level
  • Previous experience supporting learning and leading whole-class activities
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Adaptable and comfortable working across different schools and year groups
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
