Lead Teaching Assistant | Academic Mentor & Pedagogical Lead. Location: Local Secondary Schools (Across KS3, KS4 & KS5). Salary: £95.00 - £115.00 per day (Scale-linked | Weekly Pay). We are seeking a Lead Teaching Assistant to act as a pivotal academic bridge in our secondary network. This isn't just about managing a classroom; it's about strategic academic intervention and pastoral advocacy. This role is specifically designed for professionals aiming for School Direct programs, Educational Psychology, or Senior Pastoral leadership. Job Responsibility

  • Designing and leading 1:1 and small-group Mastery sessions for Pupil Premium and High-Prior-Attainers
  • Managing complex EHCP requirements and implementing Adaptive Teaching strategies to ensure total curriculum accessibility
  • Utilising de-escalation techniques and restorative justice practices to maintain a high-standard learning environment
  • Overseeing scribe/reader requirements and coaching students on time management and exam technique
