Job Description:

Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new role in a local specialist school? Are you looking to join a fun and friendly team that can offer you career progression? A highly regarded specialist school local to you is currently looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support within the schools secondary department on a full time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for covering PPA and NQT time. As a result of the schools commitment to offering a creative curriculum and stimulating learning that meets the needs of the individual learners. The school adopts small class sizes and high ratios of staff to students. The School is a 2 form entry specialist school with modern resources and brilliant grounds. This is a specialist school supporting primary and secondary aged learners with Autism and associated needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons
  • Supporting learners with SEN

Requirements:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent
  • Relevant teaching assistant experience (Must be able to provide references)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
