Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
  • Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI’s etc
  • Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
  • Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
  • Participation in call out and breakdown rota – if/when required
  • Ability to use diagnostic equipment
  • Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
  • Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Requirements:

  • C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
  • Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills
  • Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
  • Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
