We are looking for an enthusiastic HGV Concrete Relief Driver to join our team. The role is to provide Holiday, Sickness & Training cover for drivers in the Lincolnshire Area. A van will be provided to get from site to site (business use only). This role is perfect for someone who likes variety, with a passion for driving and a desire to set an example to others in everything they do. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for efficiency, safety, and quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver concrete and mortar safely and efficiently
  • Liaise and build positive relationships with the internal Distribution Team and internal/external customers
  • Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritising health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimise downtime on vehicles, delivery schedules and routes
  • Maintain a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends
  • Contribute to the Company’s zero harm culture

Requirements:

  • Experience of HGV driving
  • Valid class C licence
  • Current driver CPC
  • Strong knowledge of the local area
  • Experience in delivering concrete
  • Flexible approach to work variable hours
  • Availability for occasional nights and weekends
