Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join Team Ipsum at our site in Wrexham. We require you to have previous HGV 2 / Hiab / and Plant Operating experience, ideally within the Utilities / or Construction Industry. You will be responsible for overseeing and controlling HGV / Plant machinery associated equipment used in association of substation activities. This role ensures that operations conform to all Safety standards and Laws, including Relevant Client Network Requirements and Practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
  • Ensure HGV / Plant are both Law, Site & Highway Compliant
  • Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
  • Monitor Service and Inspection Regimes and Times
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the functionality of the work required

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a HGV / Plant Operator in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of plant machinery and HGV vehicles and equipment
  • Valid UK Driving License and / or appropriate certification to operate heavy machinery and equipment
  • Technical certification e.g. Level 2 NVQ would be advantageous

Nice to have

  • Technical certification e.g. Level 2 NVQ
  • Previous experience ideally within the Utilities / or Construction Industry
