Job Description:

We are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to work in our HGV Garage facility at Watton, Norfolk. We are open to consider candidates of all experience levels for this position. This role is permanent full time working Monday – Friday between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 and Saturday mornings as required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carry out inspections, maintenance, repairs and MOT preparation of HGV vehicles to DVSA standard
  • Completion of relevant paperwork and working to tight deadlines
  • Assist team in maintaining and repairing other vehicles and equipment including cars, agricultural machinery etc.

Requirements:

  • Motivated
  • flexible
  • great communication skills
  • experience in vehicle mechanics coupled with a relevant qualification
  • Semi-Skilled or Car/Agricultural/Plant trained an advantage
  • HGV class 1 or 2 license (desirable but not necessary)

Nice to have:

  • Semi-Skilled or Car/Agricultural/Plant trained
  • HGV class 1 or 2 license
