Are you Looking for a HGV/HIAB driving role? If so, we are currently recruiting for a HGV Grab Driver to support our construction teams with the safe collection of goods and equipment from sites across our wonderfully scenic region.
Job Responsibility:
Travelling across Taunton, Minehead, Bridgwater and everywhere in between, delivering aggregate materials where construction teams are operating
Perform regular safety inspections on vehicle and HIAB equipment
Load and unload aggregate materials to the necessary sites
Provide support to construction teams, as and when required
Plan journey with the Area Controller to ensure it is the most efficient route available
Requirements:
Sound knowledge and experience using HIAB/HGV vehicles
Take pride in making sure vehicle is always maintained and clean
Health and safety-focused
Excellent communication skills
Ideally hold a street work accreditation, hygiene card and ALMI or NPORS qualification or equivalent
Possess a valid driving licence and a HGV licence with a driver card
Nice to have:
