Job Description:

FM Conway is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Fitter to join our Plant and Workshop division based out of our Heathrow depot. Working within our busy and vibrant team at our Heathrow workshop, you will work on our wide range of commercial vehicles, maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV transport to a high standard.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining our large fleet of HGV & LGV vehicles
  • Completing paperwork following any maintenance activities
  • Working as part of a team or remotely and adapting your skills to other areas when required
  • Working safely in compliance with risk assessments and method statements and being willing to challenge any unsafe practises

Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial vehicles and electrical systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
  • Full UK driving license
  • City and Guilds 1, 2 and 3 or equivalent NVQ in standard motor mechanics

Nice to have:

Knowledge of cranes, white lining equipment and hydraulic systems
