Job Description

This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. As an LGV Driver Class 1 for Cencora Alliance Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely, efficient, and accurate delivery of assembled products and invoices to customers, while adhering to corporate guidelines and maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service.

Job Responsibility

Maintain all vehicles to company and legislative standards
Adhere to EU Working Time and Road Transport Regulations
Comply with speed limits, driving the vehicle courteously, safely, and legally
Ensure vehicles are not overloaded
Ensure all documentation is completed accurately
Attend essential or advisory training
Maintain a high standard of driving
Conduct daily vehicle checks
Report any faults, breakdowns, or delays promptly
Ensure all Proof of Deliveries (PODs) are delivered
Collect goods returned from customers
Verify all orders listed on drop sheets are loaded
Log trailer seal numbers before departure and upon arrival
Maintain a professional and approachable demeanour
Promote a customer-focused approach

Requirements

Full UK LGV Class 1 (C+E) with CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
1 Years HGV driving experience
Ability to comply with Health and Safety standards
Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills, with good attention to detail
Experience working collaboratively team members to achieve shared goals
Have good eyesight / corrected vision
Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised and with a flexible work ethic
Act independently and work unsupervised

Nice to have

Experience in multi-drop delivery environments / pallet work
Experience in route planning
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
