Job Description

Adams Morey is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time HGV Driver to join our team in Plymouth. This role is ideal for a semi-retired individual, particularly an ex-technician, or someone with a solid mechanical background who is looking for flexible, part-time work. Hours: 3 days per week, 8 hours, i.e. 24 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid). Salary: £14.00 per hour.

Job Responsibility

  • Collection and delivery of commercial vehicles as required
  • Supporting workshop operations with vehicle movements
  • Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues
  • Confidently present a vehicle for an MOT test, cooperating professionally with the DVSA tester
  • Representing the company in a professional manner at all times

Requirements

  • Valid HGV (Class 1 or Class 2) licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred
  • Mechanical or technical background highly desirable
  • Flexible and dependable approach to work
  • Ability to pass a DBS check (essential)
