Grant & Stone Building Supplies is a trusted independent builder's merchant, proudly serving the South East since 1987. We're part of the Independent Builders Merchant Group (IBMG) — the largest independent merchant group in the South of England. We're currently looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our team at our Grant & Stone Wheatley Branch.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customers
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time
  • Carrying out pre- and post-vehicle checks
  • Adhering to road traffic laws and company procedures
  • Maintaining delivery and vehicle records
  • Assisting with loading and unloading when required

Requirements:

  • Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • HIAB licence preferred
  • Proven experience driving HGVs or a similar delivery role
  • Excellent driving skills with a clean record
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Professional and customer-focused attitude
