Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Flexible and willing to provide relief HGV driving cover
Strong team player with a positive attitude
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial

Job Responsibility

Carry out deliveries using a company van (approx. 90% of the role)
Provide relief cover as an HGV Class 2 driver (26T) during holidays and sickness (approx. 12 weeks per year)
Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Load, secure, and unload materials in line with safety standards
Assist in the yard with loading and unloading vehicles
Maintain stock organisation and yard cleanliness
Support general yard operations during quieter periods
