This role is in support of Cencora's third party logistics service in Europe operating through our Alloga business. Join our team at Cencora Alloga, a leading global pharmaceutical solutions organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people and animals. Are you a skilled Class 1 HGV driver/shunter, looking for a full-time opportunity? Alloga UK is seeking a dedicated and professional Class 1 Driver with shunting experience to join our team in South Normanton. As a Class 1 Driver and shunter, you will play a vital role in providing a professional customer delivery service while maintaining a safe and competent standard of driving. You will be delivering to UK destination’s only from our distribution centre on Derby Commercial Park / South Normanton.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver goods promptly and safely, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays or issues
  • Complete documentation accurately, including proof of deliveries and returns
  • Maintain a high level of vehicle cleanliness and road safety, adhering to speed limits and traffic regulations
  • Conduct daily vehicle walkaround checks and manage secure loading practices
  • Report any risks, incidents, or temperature excursions as they arise

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience
  • Excellent customer care and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Smart appearance
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • NVQ Level 2
