Job Description:

Ashvale Haulage, part of the M O’Brien Group of Companies, is currently recruiting experienced, dependable, and professional HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our team for day shift operations. We are looking for drivers who are punctual, responsible, and capable of working independently, while also representing the company in a professional manner when dealing with customers and site staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating a Class 2 tipper vehicle
  • Transporting materials safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining high standards of professionalism, safety, and reliability
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
  • Ensuring loads are secured correctly
  • Complying with all relevant road safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid CPC Card (required)
  • HGV Class 2 Licence
  • HGV Driving: Minimum 2 years experience preferred
  • Tipper Driving: At least 1 year experience required

  • Notifying the relevant traffic commissioner of any changes to licence(s) or drivers etc. that are necessary
  • Actively develop the Transport team in increasing engagement, communication and people development
  • Manage and collate necessary information and documentation to apply for (and maintain) FORS accreditation
