Job Description:

Established in 1965, the Lockwood Group is a family run business and currently has over 350 employees spanning 7 UK sites. The group’s activities include UK haulage and storage, frozen food production and co-packing solutions. We are currently looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver to be based at our Ambergate site.

Job Responsibility:

General Haulage
Pallet Network multi-drop deliveries/collections
Use of the latest technology i.e. electronic POD devices, electronic walk around checks
To maintain excellent levels of customer service
To ensure accurate and timely communication with the Transport team
To deliver goods in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

HGV Class 2 licence is essential
CPC, valid Digi card
Good understanding of Tachograph and WTD rules
Previous HGV driving experience or experience of a similar role is preferred
Must have strong geographical knowledge
Be motivated and able to work on own initiative
Reliable and punctual
Flexible approach
Good verbal communication with excellent customer service skills and a professional approach

Requirements
