Job Description

JRL Environmental are looking for an experienced Class 2 Mixer Driver to start immediately at our yard in Birmingham. This is a permanent weekly paid PAYE position. The JRL Group is a leading construction company that specialises in Main Contracting & RC Frames along with 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for the most complex projects. London Concrete Pumping (LCP) are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers for our Batching Plant in Birmingham City Centre.

Job Responsibility

  • Must be able to follow current legislation EU drivers hours rules, Working time directive for mobile workers, Road Transport directive
  • Must be able to communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times
  • Must have a knowledge of the different types of concrete mix
  • Understand how to keep the mixer clean

Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 licence
  • Used various different mixer types
  • Experience of driving in the UK
  • Full CPC and Digi-tacho card
  • Good understanding of driver's hours and working time
  • Ability to complete paperwork
  • Must be able to follow current legislation EU drivers hours rules, Working time directive for mobile workers, Road Transport directive
  • Must be able to communicate in a courteous and helpful manner at all times
