An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our busy team at South West Galvanizers Ltd based in Crediton, EX17. We are part of Wedge Group Galvanizing, a successful family-owned business offering secure employment to its employees for over 150 years. We have 14 sites nationwide and apply corrosion protection to all the steel you regularly see around you such as street furniture, lampposts, bridge beams and even football stadiums through our galvanizing process. Job Responsibility:

Putting safety first – Ensuring full compliance with all statutory requirements and driving legislation, including company procedures, tachograph monitoring, driver, and road regulations
Collecting and delivering steelwork
Maintaining good working relationships with customers
Complete accurate delivery records and relevant paperwork
Responsible for carrying out vehicle inspections

Requirements:

Clean Class C licence
Digital tachograph card
Driver CPC
Motivated and reliable

Nice to have:

Previous experience transporting steel
