Job Description

Our client based in Thame is looking for a HGV Class 2 driver to join their team assisting customers with the safe transit of their goods to personal locations and businessess. Hours of work are generally from 6am each morning depending on work required for the day. This is a temporary to permanent position and applicants should apply with this in mind.

Job Responsibility

  • Assisting customers with the safe transit of their goods to personal locations and businesses
  • Work with a team of drivers and porters to ensure the safe transit of peoples personal items to various destinations
  • Dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone
  • Safe manual handling of goods, on and off the vehicle

Requirements

  • Full Class 2 licence, with no more than 6 points on your licence
  • Class 2 Licence with a minimum of 2 years experience
  • Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to complete lifting of heavy materials
  • Successful applicants should be within a commutable distance of Thame
