Job Description:

Class 1 – Night trunk driver. Mobile People.Powered.Logistics is a multi-award winning road transport company based in Haddenham and Birmingham. The company is one of the largest Network Distribution businesses in Buckinghamshire and the Midlands and has continued to grow year on year even during the current crisis. We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Mobile People Powered Logistics in Haddenham, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. As a vital member of the logistics and transport industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods throughout the region.

Job Responsibility:

Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently from Haddenham to Birmingham and return
Transport goods from our Pallet hub to our depot (18 hrs – 4 am)
Adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and report any defects
Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers

Requirements:

HGV Class 1 licence
CPC qualification
Tacho card
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What we offer:

28 days paid holiday incl. Statutory Days
50 hrs basic including breaks then overtime rate applies
Guaranteed minimum of pay of 46.25 hours per week @ 17.88 per hour / Overtime 18.88 per hour
Full uniform provided after probationary period
Company Pension
Above-average salary for Employed drivers (none agency)
Weekend overtime subject to availability
