Job Description

Kinaxia Newcastle is looking for dedicated and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our General Haulage team. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive working environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Job Responsibility

Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness
Deliver and collect goods as scheduled, following manifests
Communicate effectively with the traffic office and report any issues promptly
Adhere to all company, customer, and Highway Code requirements
Maintain high health and safety standards at all times
Ensure compliance with EU tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations
Keep your vehicle clean and tidy
Carry out pallet truck and tail lift deliveries where required

Requirements

Full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (2+ years' experience preferred, but not essential)
Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
Digital Tachograph Card

Nice to have

2+ years' experience
