Job Description

As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will help to deliver our Company's vision being 'The Galvanizer of choice' through being an integral part of a fleet that delivers our high-quality products to our customers.

Job Responsibility

Putting safety first – ensuring full compliance with all statutory requirements and driving legislation
Collecting and delivering steelwork
Maintaining good working relationships with customers
Completing accurate delivery records and relevant paperwork
Responsible for carrying out vehicle inspections

Requirements

Demonstrate excellent customer service
Work both as part of a team and on own initiative
Good geographical area knowledge
Hold a full and clean Category C licence (minor points may be considered)
Category C+E considered a distinct advantage
Possess a valid digital tachograph card and full Driver CPC
Minimum of two years' HGV driving background
Knowledge of steel deliveries or similar loads considered beneficial
