HGV Class 1 Driver

• Driving a modern seven-car transporter across UK routes
• Collecting end-of-life, insurance and accident-damaged vehicles from customers
• Loading, securing and occasionally winching non-running vehicles
• Carrying out depot-to-depot transfers when required
• Completing all paperwork accurately and on time
• Working closely with our transport, operations and material handling teams
• Completing occasional nights out (paid extra)
• Working 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday

• HGV Class 1 (CE) licence holder
• CPC and DIGI card in date
• Knowledgeable about drivers’ hours and regulations
• Literate and numerate with good attention to detail
• Mechanically minded and confident in problem solving
• Great with customers and a professional ambassador on the road
• Able to provide two references

Experienced with transporters or vehicle recovery
