Job Description

This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. To ensure the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled product and invoices to the customer within the corporate guidelines.

Job Responsibility

To ensure the speedy, efficient and accurate delivery of assembled product and invoices to the customer within the corporate guidelines
To maintain a safe a competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and other traffic signs and giving due regard to other road users
To have a daily check to ensure that your vehicle is in a roadworthy condition including a check of the lights, brakes, coolant, etc.
To report any faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays
To maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle together with the cleanliness of the vehicle
To ensure sufficient quantities of fuel have been taken for the day's work
To maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times
To check all orders shown on the drop sheets and ensure all orders are loaded on the vehicle
To collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by the branch management
Ensure damages/breakages are dealt with promptly and correctly with due regard to special procedures for Hazchem's
To maintain a smart appearance at all times
To help maintain good customer relations
To be involved in other duties including warehouse tasks as defined by the Management
Meet all Health & Safety requirements

Requirements

A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle being driven
For insurance purposes, all drivers must be over 21 years of age
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent Customer care
Intermediate Numeracy and Literacy

Nice to have

Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable
Route planning experience
