Job Description:

Join our dynamic hematology and oncology team in an outpatient clinic setting, providing exemplary care to our patients in Cooperstown, NY. This locum tenens assignment offers a mix of oncology and hematology cases with the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team. Flexible scheduling options available to meet both provider and patient needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a patient volume of 12 to 15 patients per day with a case mix of ~80% oncology and ~20% hematology
  • Collaborate effectively with a team composed of 1 MD and 1 NP, along with additional nursing support
  • Perform bone marrow procedures if needed
  • most are handled by Interventional Radiology

Requirements:

  • Active New York medical license required
  • Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • Must have updated immunization records, flu vaccine or declination, and a negative TB or QuantiFERON Gold test within 1 year of start
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
