A rewarding opportunity awaits in Pontiac, MI, for a Hematology Oncology Physician in an outpatient clinic setting. This locum tenens position covers a recruitment gap, offering coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Engage with a dedicated support team in addressing adult patient care needs and participate actively in the clinic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide hematology and oncology outpatient care
  • Manage an average of 15–20 patients daily in the clinic
  • Conduct clinic calls as necessary
  • Participate in tumor board discussions and decisions

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology
  • Active Michigan medical license
  • BLS/ACLS certifications
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Expertise in hematology and oncology outpatient procedures
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficient in patient assessment and care planning
