Job Description

Join our outpatient clinic, closely affiliated with a major hospital and chemotherapy center, as a locum tenens Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology Oncology. The position requires full-time coverage, Monday through Friday, with a shorter working schedule on Fridays. As part of the team, you'll be involved in providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide care to adults focusing on hematology and oncology treatments
  • Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies in an outpatient setting
  • Coordinate patient care with an emphasis on compassion and efficacy
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in accordance with clinic policies

Requirements

  • Active California license and CA DEA
  • Board Certification in Nurse Practice with a specialization in Hematology Oncology
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in hematology oncology

  • California Registered Nurse (RN) license, California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license, and Furnishing License Certification

  • Demonstrates ability to independently manage patients in a fast-paced setting, using evidence-based clinical judgment and appropriate escalation of care
