This Help Desk Technician role involves providing hands-on technical support for a nationwide network of users, with a focus on Office 365 and Windows 11 migrations, troubleshooting processes, and inventory management.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in migrating Office 2016 to Office 365 and Windows 10 to Windows 11, utilizing hands-on expertise to support a smooth transition
provide remote hardware and software troubleshooting to a nationwide network of users using ScreenConnect and follow processes to resolution
communicate with team members to ensure laptops are appropriately prepared for users, including software installations per checklist guidelines
respond to, resolve, and document issues using JIRA ticketing system with sharp attention to process adherence
collaborate with users to address technical needs, efficiently handle POS accounts setup for new hires, and actively manage Accuflow laptop inventory to support pharmacy operations
contribute to inventory management, ensuring hardware (e.g., laptops, peripherals) is properly accounted for and operational across the organization
operate Active Directory for account setups and troubleshooting requests
work autonomously on smaller projects and communicate findings or issues to the appropriate internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Office 365 experience, particularly with migration projects
proficient in troubleshooting hardware and assisting with remote issues for diverse systems
experience with Windows 10/11 migrations and laptop inventory management
familiarity with Active Directory for account management and workflow
strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams
solid understanding of JIRA, POS systems, and inventory platforms like Accuflow
strong ability to follow established processes and carry them through to completion
