Zachery Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a DoD program that is fully funded through 2028, supporting the Department of the Navy program based in New Orleans, LA. The Help Desk Specialist provides end‑user technical support across a large enterprise environment. The role will begin on a night‑shift schedule, with the option to move to other shifts after the first few months depending on candidate preference.
Job Responsibility:
Provide technical assistance for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other network‑connected equipment
Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, operating systems, Microsoft/Office applications, and VTC systems
Collaborate with employees and leadership to diagnose and resolve IT problems
Support daily operations of the Enterprise Service Desk
Manage service tickets, run scripts, answer incoming calls, and meet established service metrics
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance
At least 1 year of IT support experience
IAT II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or higher‑level equivalent)
Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting, ticketing tools, and general IT support
