We are looking for a skilled Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance to users, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems and resolving technical issues efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with expertise in troubleshooting, Microsoft Windows environments, and service desk support.
Job Responsibility:
Respond promptly to service desk tickets and provide effective solutions to technical problems
Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows systems and applications
Manage and maintain user accounts through Active Directory, including password resets and access permissions
Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops
Assist with the installation, configuration, and updates of Microsoft Windows 10
Provide clear and thorough communication with users to address technical concerns
Document resolutions and maintain accurate records of support activities
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of complex technical issues
Offer guidance and training to users on system functionalities and best practices
Requirements:
Proficiency in Active Directory for account management and access control
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 10
Experience with basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software
Familiarity with responding to service desk tickets and resolving user issues
Excellent communication skills to interact with users and team members effectively
Ability to document support activities and maintain organized records
Prior experience in a help desk or desktop support role
Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently
