We are looking for a skilled Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Janesville, Wisconsin. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in providing technical support to end-users while ensuring seamless onboarding processes and efficient ticket resolution. Job Responsibility:
Provide timely and effective support to users by addressing hardware, software, and system-related issues
Manage and resolve service desk tickets using Fresh service, ensuring all requests are handled promptly and accurately
Assist with onboarding new employees by configuring devices, setting up accounts, and ensuring proper access to systems
Support the upgrade of systems to Windows 11, ensuring a smooth transition for all users
Deliver excellent customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with team members and clients
Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to Active Directory and Microsoft Windows environments
Collaborate with team members, including Systems Administrators and Support Technicians, to address complex technical challenges
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support when needed
Maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and resolved issues
Contribute to the improvement of technical workflows and processes to enhance overall efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a help desk or desktop support role
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Windows operating systems
Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as Freshservice, and ability to manage service desk tickets
Experience with onboarding processes, including setting up accounts and configuring devices
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels
Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and system issues
Nice to have:
Knowledge of system upgrades, particularly Windows 11, is preferred
Experience with Intune is a plus but not required
