We are looking for a skilled Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this part-time role, you will work onsite three days a week, providing essential technical support to end users. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your troubleshooting and customer service abilities.
Job Responsibility:
Provide hands-on support for desktop and help desk operations, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including Microsoft Windows 10-related issues
Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory
Address and resolve service desk tickets in an efficient and detail-oriented manner
Deliver superior customer service by assisting end users with their IT needs and concerns
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals
Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical challenges
Document technical solutions and processes for future reference
Support end users in navigating various systems and tools effectively
Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company policies and IT standards
Requirements:
Proficiency in Active Directory for user account management and permissions
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and basic troubleshooting techniques
Experience handling service desk tickets and providing timely resolutions
Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to assisting end users effectively
Familiarity with hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a part-time schedule
