Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis in Pomfret, Connecticut. In this role, you will provide technical support for end users, ensuring their hardware and software systems are functioning effectively. This position requires a hands-on and detail-oriented individual with expertise in troubleshooting, configuration, and system maintenance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers for end users
  • diagnose and resolve hardware issues including memory upgrades, keyboard replacements, and motherboard installations
  • troubleshoot and manage user accounts, domains, and software-related issues
  • set up and resolve network connectivity problems for both local and remote devices
  • configure and test wireless access points to ensure seamless connectivity
  • collaborate with vendors to address and resolve technical challenges
  • provide support for devices such as Chromebooks, Apple devices, and Mac computers
  • deploy and manage software applications, including Microsoft Office Suites and Google Workspace
  • utilize tools like Active Directory to manage user permissions and system access
  • maintain detailed documentation of technical issues and resolutions

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring both Mac and PC systems
  • experience with Android devices, Apple devices, and Chromebooks
  • strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace
  • familiarity with network technologies, including Cisco and Citrix
  • hands-on experience with configuration management and hardware deployments
  • certification in CompTIA A+ or Apple Certified Desktop Technician (ACDT) is preferred
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously
  • excellent communication and customer service skills to support end users effectively
