This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical support and assistance to ensure smooth operations within the paper and packaging industry. The role requires onsite work and involves troubleshooting, setup, and maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
Job Responsibility:
Diagnose and resolve basic IT issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations
Perform imaging and configuration tasks for PCs and laptops to prepare them for use
Set up and maintain workstations, ensuring optimal functionality
Install, configure, and maintain printers and other hardware, ensuring seamless connectivity
Conduct basic troubleshooting for IT systems to identify and resolve technical issues
Provide support for Android and Apple devices, ensuring proper configuration and usability
Manage user access and permissions through Active Directory
Collaborate on deployment and configuration management tasks to enhance system performance
Support Cisco and Citrix technologies, ensuring efficient network and software operations
Offer guidance and assistance with Mac computers and Microsoft systems
Requirements:
Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles, preferably within a similar industry
Proficiency in working with Android and Apple devices
Familiarity with Active Directory for user and system management
Expertise in computer hardware setup, configuration, and maintenance
Knowledge of Cisco and Citrix technologies
Experience with Mac computers and Microsoft systems
Ability to perform imaging and configuration tasks for PCs and laptops
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical issues effectively
