This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to provide technical support and assistance in a dynamic environment. The role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively to address a variety of IT challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktop systems, printers, Active Directory, and networking issues
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and printer-related problems effectively
Manage and prioritize service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
Perform regular field visits to remote terminals, supporting equipment and systems on-site
Collaborate with team members to address IT concerns and improve operational efficiency
Handle basic networking troubleshooting tasks, ensuring system connectivity and performance
Maintain and update documentation related to IT processes and solutions
Support end-users by delivering clear instructions and guidance on technical matters
Conduct equipment inspections that may require climbing stairs or working at heights
Requirements:
Previous experience in help desk or desktop support roles
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and its functionalities
Proficiency in troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems
Minimum of 3 years of IT experience hands-on, with a preference for Microsoft/CompTIA certifications
Ability to manage service desk tickets efficiently and with attention to detail
Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset
Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and processes
Comfortable working in field environments, including climbing stairs and handling machinery
Be capable to climb heights on a ladder to reach high-up machinery (100+ feet)
