We are looking for a dedicated Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Dayton, Ohio, supporting a non-profit organization. In this role, you will provide Tier 1 technical assistance and customer support, ensuring smooth resolution of basic IT issues. Job Responsibility:
Respond to incoming technical support requests via phone, email, or chat, ensuring timely and accurate assistance
Diagnose and troubleshoot basic network issues, including connectivity problems and user access concerns
Provide exceptional customer service in a call center environment, maintaining professionalism and empathy in all communications
Document issues and resolutions comprehensively to enhance knowledge sharing and improve future support processes
Assist users with software-related inquiries, offering clear guidance and solutions
Collaborate with team members to escalate complex issues to higher support tiers when necessary
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and adhere to organizational policies
Stay updated on emerging technologies and internal systems to provide informed support
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred
At least one year of experience in technical support or a similar role where attention to detail is essential
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve fundamental IT issues
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations in an environment that requires attention to detail
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through in task execution
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Familiarity with software troubleshooting and basic network troubleshooting techniques
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer satisfaction
