Hedge Fund Investment Due Diligence Associate Analyst - Credit

• Support manager selection, investment due diligence, and strategy analysis with a focus on Credit strategies
• Produce written research reports based on qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Initiate new research and ratings on Hedge Fund credit offerings and assist with ongoing monitoring
• Provide ongoing monitoring of Open Protocol reports
• Develop and monitor peer groups, draft internal meeting notes, coordinate diligence call schedules
• Coordinate with others within the firm covering related strategies
• Help build relationships between Albourne, the client, and covered managers
• Assist in periodic production of strategy comments and forecasts
• Assist in production and maintenance on the extranet of research
• Identify additional tools or analytics to enhance accuracy of ratings
• Communicate to clients by phone or email Albourne’s house opinions
• Maintain HFDB internal database with up-to-date information
• Meet deadlines imposed by management and clients
• Participate on internal group calls
• Support business development activities
• Support any Albourne initiatives and act as an ambassador
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned

• University graduate or equivalent with 1-5 years of related experience and knowledge of hedge funds
• Possession of or progression towards relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Copilot, with advanced skills in Excel
• Literate in financial markets and terminology
• Knowledge of Bloomberg
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proactive self-starter, proficient in time management and multitasking
• Professional demeanor with refined interpersonal skills
• Willingness and ability to travel to the U.S. and internationally, as required
