This critical role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing Brisbane's bus fleet at Toowong Workshops. Job Responsibility

  • Perform diagnostic assessments and mechanical repairs on a diverse range of vehicles and plant equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes
  • Manage parts inventory while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the workshop
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely service delivery
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all work performed, including parts and materials utilized
  • Transmission overhauls and rebuilds

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
  • A current Australian-recognized Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate is essential
