Job opening - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic in Adelaide | Randstad

Job Responsibility

Perform diagnostics, repairs, & scheduled maintenance on a variety of trucks
Troubleshoot & repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Complete inspections and ensure vehicles meet compliance and safety standards
Maintain accurate service records, job cards & work orders
Work independently with minimal supervision during the afternoon shift
Uphold workshop safety, cleanliness, and operational standards

Requirements

Australian trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic OR Diesel Mechanic (Cert III)
1 + years demonstrated Australian experience on relevant trucks, Volvo, DAF, Mercedes & Dennis Eagle vehicles
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
Ability to work across a 5 day work week, potential rotating shifts
Reliable, self motivated, & able to work autonomously
HR or MC Licence is highly regarded but not essential
Ability to meet D&A screening as well as pass a pre employment medical

Nice to have

HR or MC Licence
