Job Description

A full-time position working on a 2:1 roster with alternating day & night shift and reporting to the Workshop Supervisor. You will be working in fast paced workshop environment alongside a close-knit team of Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers & Trade assistants. This will be 2/1 Roster with alternating day + night shifts. Work in a state of the art 2.5-acre workshop equip with 15 bays, concrete floors with hoists provided (no pits) & all undercover. All Kenworth C509s are equip with Cummins ISX Engines, Eatons Ultra-shift gear boxes & with a 3 axel heavy Sisu diffs.

Job Responsibility

  • Play a crucial role in ensuring the MinRes fleet of Kenworth C509s remains road worthy and downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Main scopes of work will include general servicing, preventive maintenance, component change outs and providing a swift resolution to any breakdowns

Requirements

  • Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
  • Demonstrated diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
  • Unlimited Australian Work Rights

  • Cummins Insight experience highly regarded
  • Air conditioning Licence Highly regarded
