Job Responsibility
Automation, electric, and mechanic tasks
Ensuring the proper functioning, preventive maintenance, and major repairs of the fleet of de-icing and service trucks in Ville Saint-Laurent
Performing precise diagnostics and troubleshooting on highly specialized vehicles equipped with aerial work platforms, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and onboard computer systems
Meticulously inspecting automation, and electrical components to ensure that all vehicles are clean, safe, and in perfect working order
Collaborating actively with the lead mechanic by promptly reporting any mechanical or operational anomaly detected on the fleet
Filling out maintenance reports and completing the required documentation to ensure rigorous technical follow-up in compliance with industry standards
Requirements
Diploma or successfully completed course in general mechanics, heavy road vehicle mechanics, or construction equipment mechanics
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the heavy mechanics field or equivalent experience
Strong technical skills and hands-on experience with automation, electricity industrial, and hydraulic systems
Excellent communication skills in French and a sufficient mastery of English to fluently read technical manuals and interact effectively with English-speaking colleagues from other provinces
