Requirements

HC/MC licence with at least 5 years' heavy vehicle driving experience
Strong knowledge of WHS and COR requirements
Experience with supermarket DC loading, deliveries, including rear unloading and side loading
Hands-on coaching skills
Confident communicator who can give feedback clearly and record training using mobile/tablet systems (EWD)
Calm, approachable, and down-to-earth
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is desirable but not required upfront

Job Responsibility

Train, review, and coach drivers in the yard and on the road
Conduct driver recruitment assessments and interviews
Support inductions and on-road observations
Carry out drug and alcohol testing, coupling checks, and site inspections
Complete driver reviews at 1 and 3 months
Travel between Central West NSW stores and DC's in the Sydney basin also supporting the team throughout Peak periods in the Sydney Basin
Report on training and driver activities using mobile technology (minimal office time)
